The PC46 Police Unit in Da Nang has seized over 20 tonnes of freight which was found on train TN1 as it arrived at the city’s railway station.  The train was en route from Ha Noi to Ho Chi Minh City, and the origin of the freight is unknown.

The seized freight included clothes, electronic components, and automobile and motorcycle parts.  These items were packed into large sacks, and did not have any relevant documents.  It is thought that the goods were sourced from China.  Local police officers said that the Ha Noi-based QA Goods Transport Company had been in charge of freighting the goods from Ha Noi to Ho Chi Minh City.

The case is now under investigation.
