As part of the National Action Programme on Tourism over the 2013 - 2020 period, a Russian language course at elementary level is being held in Da Nang for 40 employees of the city’s tourism sector.

The course is being jointly organised by the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism and the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.  The purpose is to help to improve the Russian language skills of those involved in the local tourism sector in order to attract even more Russian tourists to the city, and to Viet Nam as a whole.

Currently, a total of 10 Russian language training courses, from elementary to advanced levels, are being held in Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Tuy Hoa, Nha Trang, Phan Rang, Phan Thiet, Vung Tau and Phu Quoc.
