On Monday afternoon, the Chairman of the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee, Mr Nguyen Manh Hung, visited 10 fishing families in Son Tra District and presented gifts of 5 million VND to each of them.  The recipients are living in difficult circumstances and they own over-100CV boats which make frequent fishing trips into Viet Nam’s territorial waters.  The gifts are to encourage the fishermen to continue their fishing activities in order to both earn their living and safeguard the nation’s sacred sovereignty over its sea and islands.

On Wednesday (17 September), the municipal Fatherland Front Committee will similarly present gifts to 10 fishing families in Thanh Khe District.
