The Hoa Vang District inter-disciplinary inspection team recently made an inspection visit to the Khe Duong Gold Mine in the district’s Hoa Bac Commune to deal with illegal gold mining operations there. 

The team removed 10 tents belonging to illegal miners, destroyed 7 illegal gold mine tunnels, and seized 2 power generators, along with numerous mining tools and chemicals that they had found.

A total of around 50 illegal miners escaped into the forest.
