Addressing a ceremony to officially inaugurate Da Nang’s new Administration Centre on Monday morning, the Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, Mr Van Huu Chien, remarked that the building symbolises Da Nang’s strong aspirations to become a liveable city in the central region and in Viet Nam as a whole. 

Apart from its special architectural characteristics, the centre is considered to be one of the smartest buildings in Viet Nam, with the most advanced control and management systems.  Chairman Chien also took the opportunity to ask the centre’s management board and all its employees to uphold their responsibilities for providing local residents with better customer service.  In addition, he urged them to improve their professional skills to adapt to the modern operational and management systems in their new place of work.

The inauguration of the city’s new administration centre marks an important milestone in accelerating the city’s development in the current context of industrialisation, modernisation and global integration.
