The Da Nang Newspaper’s leaders on Wednesday afternoon met with Mr Ian Lister and Mrs Carole Kendal from the UK, both of them are the English Editors of the Danang Today on the occasion of Christmas.  

The newspaper’s Editor-in-Chief, Mr Mai Duc Loc, extended his best wishes to the English Editors over Christmas and New Year holidays.  In addition, Mr Loc spoke highly of great efforts by them over the past two years to making the Da Nang Today more professional and actractive to foreign readers.

Editor-in-Chief Loc said he hoped that the English Editors, with their special love for the beautiful seaside city, will continue their efforts for the progress of his newspaper’s English online edition in the years ahead. 

In reply, Mr Lister thanked the newspaper’s leaders for their kind wishes.  He also took the opportunity to wish the newspaper’s staff a very happy and peaceful Christmas.  He also expressed his desire that his beloved city would gain more success in 2015.
