The Da Nang People’s Committee has announced that employees of local agencies and departments, as well as those of political and social organisations, will officially have four days off from 1 to 4 January for New Year holiday.  In return, employees are required to work on Saturday, 27 December as compensation.

Local agencies, organisations, businesses and households, as well as vessels anchored in the Han River, are all required to fly national flags on 1 January.

The heads of local agencies are urged to arrange for some of their employees to remain on duty, as well as to ensure security and order over the holiday period.
