On Wednesday, police officers from the Wanted Criminals Investigation Division of the Da Nang Department of Police captured To Quoc Cuong from Hai Chau District who was wanted nationwide for stealing property.

In 2008, Cuong, along with Nguyen Van Duy, Doan Ngoc Hai and Ngo Dinh Huy all also from Da Nang, conducted a series of serious thefts in the city.  In early 2011, the local police officers arrested Duy, Hai and Huy but Cuong fled the city. 

The wanted criminal then went to Ho Chi Minh City and worked in a restaurant where he fell in love with a young woman from Tay Ninh Province who also worked there.  Cuong’s girlfriend posted many photos of her and her boyfriend on her Facebook page, which allowed police officers from Da Nang to identify Cuong and then capture him in Ho Chi Minh City.   He has now been transferred to Da Nang for further judgment.
