City ranked among the world's top places to visit in 2015
Da Nang has been ranked 43rd in the world’s 52 top tourist destinations for 2015 by the New York Times (NYT), an American daily newspaper.
Da Nang was described in this year’s list as having “endless picturesque white-sand beaches where delicious baguettes filled with pork are sold from beachside kiosks”. The description goes on to say:
“The city now has a population of over one million people. After a new terminal at the city’s international airport was put into operation on 15 December 2011, local tourism sites and services have been further developed and are attracting an increasing number of foreign visitors. The seaside city is now home to many luxury hotels and resorts.
The Premier Village Danang Resort on Ngu Hanh Son District’s Vo Nguyen Giap Street is a typical example. The resort, which officially opened on April 28 last year, features modern villas with amazing views to the gardens or beach which bring guests moments of comfort and relaxation.
Another impressive hotel is the À La Carte Da Nang Beach located near the My Khe Beach. The hotel’s rooftop terrace features a café and a special infinity pool with spectacular views over the nearby beautiful beach. In addition, customers can enjoy the gentle sea breezes whilst they drink their coffee.”
