Da Nang People’s Committee has announced that employees of local agencies and departments, plus those of political and social organisations, will officially have 9 days off work (15 to 23 February inclusive) for the Tet Festival.  In return, these employees are required to work on Saturday 14 February as compensation.

Local agencies, organisations, businesses and households, as well as vessels anchored in the Han River, are all required to fly the national flag between 18 and 21 February.

The heads of local agencies have been urged to arrange for some of their employees to remain on duty, as well as to ensure security and order over the holiday period.
