With only 9 days to go to Tet, providers of beauty care services in Da Nang are seeing a sharp rise in demand from local residents, especially women.  Many of the local hair salons and spas are very busy in these days leading up to Tet.

The owners of local hair salons report that most of their customers want to have their hair curled or straightened and coloured.  The charges at many salons in the districts of Hai Chau and Cam Le are very reasonable with a hair curl, for example, being offered at between 300,000 VND and 350,000 VND.

Like the hair salons, many local spas are also luring a large number of clients, and again most of them are women.  Amongst the skincare services offered at these venues, face-lifts, skin rejuvenation and skin whitening are the most popular.

It now costs between 100,000 VND and 200,000 VND at many local spas for a facial treatment procedure which incorporates make-up removal, exfoliation, extraction, facial mask and massage.  Meanwhile, between 200,000 VND and 300,000VND is charged for eyelash extensions, and between 200,000 VND and 400,000 VND for skin whitening.
