An increase of between 5% and 40% in the fares of passenger transport services for the Tet Festival has been displayed at the Da Nang Coach Station.

The Hieu Minh Son Tourism and Transport Service Company is a typical example.  The fare for the route from Da Nang to Ha Tinh Province’s Tay Son Town increases by 30% to 300,000 VND from 230,000 VND, whilst that for the Da Nang-Thai Binh Province route is priced at 470,000 VND, up by 30% compared with normal days.

As for the Duong Hong Transport and Trading Service Company, each ticket for the double decker coach running on the Da Nang-Vinh route is 350,000 VND against 287,000 VND on normal days. 

According to the Tuan Thanh Company, ticket prices for the double decker coach running from Da Nang to Thanh Hoa City has risen by 7% to 270,000 VND per ticket, and between Da Nang and Thanh Hoa Province’s Cam Thuy District jumping by 6.25% to 320,000 VND per ticket.

The station’s ticket sales staff said that 70% of tickets from Da Nang to northern and highland localities have already been sold out.  There has been no pushing, jostling, or illegal ticket brokers at the station in the days leading up to Tet because many customers have taken the initiative to buy their tickets early.
