Floating restaurant begins operations
A floating restaurant named “Tau Rong Song Han” (Han River Dragon Boat) officially started operating last Saturday evening. The venture is one of the ideas being introduced in the city in response to the perceived lack of evening activities for tourists.
Developed by the Dong Vinh Thinh Company, the 160CV, 28m-long and 10m-wide boat features 2 restaurants, a bar and a coffee shop which together are able to serve 250 people.

The steel-hulled, 3-storey boat sails daily between 6.00pm and 7.30pm and then 8.00pm and 9.30pm. Each trip gives the customers onboard the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the colourful bridges which cross the Han River, and the community cultural and arts activities along the Bach Dang Street riverside promenade.
To mark the opening, the restaurant is offering 20% off prices for all its services, and 50% off the sightseeing boat tour until tomorrow (3 February).
