According to statistics released by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, about 20 traditional and religious festivals take place across the city during the first 3 months of each lunar year.  This year, these festivals are therefore taking place between late February and early May.

During the festival period, the city’s police forces have made every effort to ensure social order, security and traffic safety.  In particular, many traffic police have been assigned to major streets and approach roads to the festivals to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles, avoid road traffic accidents, and ensure the safety of local residents and visitors.
