Workers from the Da Nang Power Company are busy installing electrical equipment at venues where this weekend's cultural events will be held to mark the 40^th anniversary of the city’s liberation (29 March 1975).

The aim is to ensure sufficient and stable electricity supplies at these events.  These events are: the grand celebration of the city’s liberation at the Tien Son Sports Arena at 7:30am on 28 March; the fireworks displays at 4 different locations in the city at 9.00pm on the same day; the inauguration ceremony for the Hue T-junction overpass at a vacant land area of the Quang Thang Bricks and Tiles enterprise on the morning of 29 March; and a large-scale musical performance at the Sports Arena at 8:00pm on the same day.
