Currently, Da Nang is very busy preparing for the forthcoming Da Nang International Fireworks Competition 2015 (DIFC 2015).  In particular, the installation of firework tubes and launching platforms is being carried out.

Hoa Vang District’s militia forces are actively involved in selecting, classifying, installing and transporting the tubes to the assigned venues in order to ensure that they will be handed over to installation teams on 21 April.  It is estimated that around 20,000 different-sized tubes will be used for this year’s fireworks festival.

Following instructions from the city authorities, 10 wi-fi transmission stations will be set up around the viewing stands.  Local telecom businesses will be asked to run mobile base transceiver stations, prepare for backup devices, and arrange for some of their employees to be on duty during the festival to deal with any telephone line problems. 

Many more effective measures will be taken to enhance the operational capacity of the telecommunications networks, especially the mobile communication networks.  An additional 34 mobile base transceiver stations are expected to be put into operation alongside the Han River during DIFC 2015.
