Workers from the Da Nang Power Company are working hard to ensure sufficient and stable electricity supplies during the period of the fireworks competition (DIFC 2015) on 28 and 29 April, National Reunification Day on 30 April, and May Day on 1 May.

Their focus is now on installing new electricity transmission lines to supply power for the sound systems along Bach Dang, Quang Trung and Nhu Nguyet streets, along with another 18 sound systems, 13 huge LED screens and lighting systems near the A, B and C stands on Tran Hung Dao Street.

The local workers are also upgrading the 22kV 475E14 transmission line at the city’s 110kV An Don transformer station, and will then connect it with another line in order to ensure sufficient electricity supplies for the main stage of the event.

Special heed is also being paid to preparing electric generators at some local venues in case of unexpected partial electricity failures.
