A workshop took place at the University of Da Nang on Sunday entitled “A Quintessence of Japanese Investment and the Quality of Human Resources in the Central Region”.  It coincided with Japan’s Festive Day for Starting a Business and Employment.

The event was attended by representatives from the city’s relevant departments and agencies, and the city's branches of the Viet Nam-Japan Friendship Association and the Japanese Business Association, along with students from local universities.

The participants were introduced to Japanese investment projects in Viet Nam, the recruitment demands for human resources of Japanese businesses and Japan’s employment programmes, and the challenges and opportunities for the city’s universities and businesses.

Also at the event, local students were provided with a consultation service about job opportunities and had a chance to learn about the distinctive Japanese culture.
