60-year-old Nguyen Thi Giau and her husband Dinh Nang from Da Nang’s Thanh Khe District are in desperate need of financial assistance to cover their medical treatment costs.

Mrs Giau has been suffered from Grave's Disease for many years. She has faced the complications of blurred vision and a cardiovascular disorder because she did not have enough money to pay for treatment.  Last year, Mrs Giau was admitted to a local hospital for eye surgery, whilst her husband was taken to the city’s General Hospital due to a blood-brain barrier.

The poor couple

In an attempt to save Mr Nang’s life, doctors took a skull bone out and preserved it in a special environment.  After 3 months of treatment, he was re-examined for the possibility of reattaching this bone.  However, Mr Nang was then diagnosed with lung tumors.
