Following approval by the Da Nang People's Committee, welcome SMS messages in both Vietnamese and English will be sent to domestic and foreign visitors who stay overnight in the city. 

The messages will also introduce useful information on the local tourism sector to visitors in an informal and friendly way.

The Department of Information and Communications will be responsible for appealing for support from local businesses and use part of the revenue from tourism to effectively implement this service.
