According to figures released by the Da Nang Department of Health, a total of 5,953 emergency cases were reported in the city’s hospitals during the recent 6-day holiday break between 28 April and 3 May.

Of this figure, 357 were the result of traffic accidents which included 56 traumatic brain injuries.  A total of 9 deaths from several different diseases were also recorded during the period. 

Over the 6 days, the city welcomed around 500,000 domestic and international visitors.
