Following a Prime Ministerial decision to help build storm-resistant housing for poor families in the central region, work started on Tuesday on 2 houses in Da Nang’s Hoa Vang District.

The cost of constructing each house is 47 million VND, 17 million VND of which will come from the central and city budgets, whilst the remainder will be funded by the Development Workshop France organisation.

This year, around 3 billion VND will be spent on upgrading and building houses for 244 poor families in Hoa Vang District, of which 1.5 billion VND will be granted from the central government’s budget.
