Following a recent decision by the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security, the former Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Police, Col Le Van Tam (born in 1959), has been promoted to the Department’s Director.

The former Head of the city’s Criminal Investigation Department, Col Tran Muu (born in 1961), has been appointed the Department’s Deputy Director.

The former Director of the Department, Major General Nguyen Van Son, has been promoted to Deputy General Director of the General Political Department of the People's Police.
