At 3pm last Saturday, a dolphin was found washed up on the Cu Lao Cham Island’s Hon Lao beach in Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An City.  It weighed about 40kg and measured over 1.5 metres in length.

Mr Le Anh Son from Da Nang’s Hai Chau District said that he and his friends discovered the dolphin lying at a point about 2 metres away from the waters’ edge as they were taking a stroll on the beach to enjoy the cool breezes.  The distressed mammal was immediately watered and then released back into the sea.
