2 children injured in Thuan Phuoc Bridge crash gradually recovering
As previously reported, a collision between a 7-seater car and 2 motorcycles occurred on 13 July on the Thuan Phuoc Bridge in Da Nang’s Hai Chau District, killing 3 people and injuring 2 others. The injured victims are 9-year-old Tran Trong Minh and his 6-year-old sister Tran Khanh Linh. Their mother was one of the 3 killed in this horrific accident.
Soon after the crash, the 2 children were rushed to the Da Nang General Hospital in a very critical condition with traumatic brain injuries. They were immediately put on ventilators and given blood transfusions. The hospital’s doctors and nurses did their utmost to save the lives of these children.

According to a doctor from the Department of Anaesthesia and Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the hospital, the children are now gradually recovering. They are in full possession of their senses and are able to eat and drink normally.
