Between 15 July and 30 September, administrative fines will be imposed on environmental violators on a trial basis at the section from the public bathing area of the Sao Bien beach to that of the Pham Van Dong Beach No 1. 

Those who discard cigarette ash and butts will receive warnings or be imposed a fine from 50,000 - 100,000 VND.  In addition, anyone who leaves domestic waste in inappropriate places will be fined between 100,000 and 200,000 VND.

Fines of between 200,000 and 300,000 VND will be imposed on anyone who urinates or defecates near local residential areas, trading centres and other public areas.

Chairmen of district-level People’s Committees, police officers, and inspectors from the municipal Department of Natural Resources and the Environment will be responsible for imposing punishments on violators.
