Job fair at University of Economics
The Da Nang University of Economics, the local authorities, and some of the city’s businesses recently jointly organised the first-ever job fair at the university for its students.
At the event, the students were provided with consultancy services on how best to prepare their curriculum vitaes before applying for jobs. The event also featured job interviews and a survey to collect information on local recruitment.
The university’s Deputy Head, Mr Dao Huu Hoa, remarked that the fair offered a good opportunity for local job seekers to find job opportunities with local enterprises. He added that the event had also helped his university catch up with the recruitment requirements of local businesses in order to adjust its training programmes for students.

Also at the fair, the university invited some of the local enterprises to give lessons to its students. The aim will be to enhance the efficiency of the university’s teaching programmes, and to help its students meet the job requirements of local businesses.
The President of the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs and General Manager of the city’s Seatech Equipment Company, Mr Le Van Hieu, said that the training programmes will help to increase the quality of the city’s human resources in order to meet the job requirements of local businesses.
Mr Hieu also remarked that high-quality employees would help local enterprises to expand their production and business activities, promote technological innovations, and improve their competiveness.
