According to the Da Nang Power Company, power cuts will be required in some areas of the city on 19 July to allow the relocation of power poles No 9 and 10 of the city’s Xuan Ha 110kV transformer station.  The purpose is to facilitate the installation of electricity at zones 2 and 7 in the Tay Bac New Urban Area in Lien Chieu District.

Power cuts will be from midnight on 18 July to 6pm on 19 July in residential areas, businesses and organisations in local districts as follows:

Thanh Khe District’s Thanh Khe Dong, Thanh Khe Tay, An Khe, Chinh Gian, Tam Thuan, Tan Chinh and Xuan Ha wards

Cam Le District’s Hoa Khe and Hoa Phat wards

Lien Chieu District’s Hoa Minh and Hoa Khanh Nam wards

Hai Chau District’s Thuan Tay, Thanh Binh, Thuan Phuoc and Thach Thang wards, and some local residential areas in other wards.
