At 4.30am last Friday, family members of late musician Phan Huynh Dieu scattered some of his ashes on the Han River in Da Nang where he was born, in accordance with his last wish.

Before the scattering ceremony, a rice-offering ritual for the late musician had been held at the Da Nang Funeral House at 103 Quang Trung Street.  Some of the city’s leaders and representatives from local relevant agencies, along with some local writers, artistes and fans, had attended the event to commemorate the late musician.
