The Tan Chinh Ward People's Committee in Thanh Khe District recently launched an appeal for local residents, businesses, agencies and religious establishments to join efforts to improve the environment along Hai Phong street.

The focus will be on taking care of the trees along the street and reminding local residents not to throw litter into the street or encroach onto the pavements.  Warnings and then administrative fines will be imposed for anyone using the pavements for illegal trading, parking or placing billboards.

Also at the appeal launch, local government employees and residents became involved in cleaning up the environment and removing illegal advertisements from local power poles.  In addition, the ward’s urban order management teams reminded local businesses and traders not to encroach onto the street's pavements.
