The Da Nang Forestry-Agriculture-Fisheries Promotion Centre has recently given 10 fishing nets, in total worth 75 million VND, to Mrs Huynh Thi Nhu Hoa from Thanh Khe District’s Xuan Ha Ward.  The purpose is to encourage her family to continue their fishing activities and protect the country's sacred sovereignty over its sea and islands.

In May 2014, Mrs Hoa’s fishing boat DNa 90152 was capsized by a Chinese boat whilst it was operating in the Hoang Sa waters.  Late last year, she borrowed money from local credit organisations to build the new replacement 944CV fishing boat DNa 90567 in order to continue her family’s fishing activities in the Hoang Sa fishing grounds.
