After another appeal for donations through the Da Nang Newspaper, a further 2.2 million VND has been donated by our readers to help 23-month-old Tran Thi Minh Thu from Quang Nam Province’s Dai Loc District who has blood cancer.

Of this, 1 million VND was donated by the English Editors of the Danang Today online newspaper, Mr Ian Lister and Mrs Carole Kendal from the UK.

Currently, Thu is undergoing her 3rd session of chemotherapy at the city’s Paediatric and Maternity Hospital and her family is now in desperate need of more financial assistance to cover the cost of her subsequent radiation treatments.
