Over 98% of families in rural areas to have access to clean water
The installation of water pipe systems is now underway in many communes in Da Nang’s Hoa Vang District. These communes include Hoa Nhon, Hoa Phuoc, Hoa Khuong, Hoa Phong, Hoa Chau, Hoa Tien, Hoa Son and Hoa Ninh.
The building of the systems is being implemented by the municipal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Da Nang Water Supply Company. The total cost is coming from the budgets of the city and the national target programme for upgrading rural areas.

To date, a total of 20,075 families in the district's communes have access to treated water. In addition, over 6,000 more use water from natural water sources and deep wells which meet the food safety and hygiene regulations.
By late this year, once the new water supply systems are put into use, over 98% of the total households in these rural areas will have access to water meeting the standards.
