Cancer Hospital becomes public medical establishment
Following a recent decision by the Da Nang People's Committee the municipal Cancer Hospital, located in Lien Chieu District’s Hoa Minh Ward, has officially become a public medical establishment under the management of the local Department of Health starting from 1 September.
In the past, the hospital was under the control of the city’s Association for Supporting Poor and Disadvantaged Women and Children. It received funds from the State and the city's budgets, and donations through the Association from both domestic and international organisations and individuals, to maintain its operation.
