Dealing with fallen trees and rubbish caused by recent storm

According to preliminary statistics released by the Da Nang Green Trees-Park Company, a total of over 460 trees alongside local streets were uprooted during the recent tropical storm Vam Co.

The company’s Deputy Head, Mr Nguyen Huu Kim, said that all the fallen trees were still alive and they would soon be re-planted.

The Deputy General Manager of the city's Urban Environment Company, Mr Nguyen Thanh Hung, said that in the early morning of Tuesday, about 1,000 workers from the company were sent to local districts to tidy up local streets and residential areas.

A total of around 2,000 tonnes of rubbish is estimated to be have been collected after the storm.
