In response to the appeal for donations through the Da Nang Newspaper, a further 4 million VND has been donated by our readers to help 23-month-old Tran Thi Minh Thu from Quang Nam Province’s Dai Loc District who has blood cancer.  Of this, 3 million VND was donated by employees of the Lien Chieu District’s branch of the Viet Nam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), and the remainder was from a woman living on Tran Cao Van street.

Currently, Thu is being treated at the city’s Paediatric and Maternity Hospital and her family is still in desperate need of more financial assistance to cover the cost of her subsequent radiation treatments.
