The Da Nang Department of Health has urged local healthcare establishments to accept patients with health insurance cards on holidays, Saturdays and Sundays in addition to the 5 weekdays as now.  This request is the result of an inter-ministerial circular which was issued by the ministries of Health and Finance early in September.

In addition, public healthcare establishments have been asked to introduce a hotline via 1900 9095 at their venues, and to arrange for their employees to handle any complaints from patients.  Meanwhile, local preventive medicine centres and private hospitals are required to introduce the Department’s hotline via 0965 241 818 as well as their own.

In the remaining months of this year, the focus will be on controlling and preventing any winter epidemics in the city.
