The Da Nang Veterinary Agency has reported that no cases have been recorded in Da Nang of using banned substances in animal husbandry.

Since 19 May, the unit has paid 6 inspection visits to local slaughterhouses and animal product trading establishments.  A total of 24 beef, pork and chicken samples were collected and sent to the city’s Quality Assurance and Testing Centre No 2 (QUATEST 2) for tests.  The test results showed that the samples did not contain the banned substances clenbutarol and salbutamol.
