Work starts on cardiovascular centre at General Hospital

On Tuesday, building work officially started on a cardiovascular centre at the Da Nang General Hospital.
Covering an area of 3,560m2, the 236 billion VND centre will feature a 37.55m-tall, 9-storey-plus-1-basement building providing 200 patient beds.
There will also be auxiliary facilities including medical gas, drainage and wastewater treatment systems, an electricity substation, a refuse area, working space for security guards, a vehicle parking area, internal roads, underground water storage tanks, and an area planted with trees surrounding the centre.

The project is expected to open its doors to the public next year.
