At 9.00am on Tuesday, police officers from the Economic Crime Investigation Division of Da Nang’s Hai Chau District and representatives from the city’s Market Management Team No 10 paid an inspection visit to the DL mobile phone shop on Hoang Dieu street. 

A total of 18 Apple iPhones, valued at over 100 million VND in total, were found without any relevant papers to prove their origin.  All of them were seized and sent to the district’s Economic Crime Investigation Division for further investigation.

Previously, at some other local business establishments, the division had also found and seized a total of 375 boxes of shisha tobacco and 20 boxes of charcoal, used for burning the shisha tobacco, which did not have the relevant documents proving their origin.
