Free medical examinations and medicines given to 350 residents

Last Saturday, the Da Nang Red Cross Association and the local Tam Tri General Hospital jointly provided free medical examinations and treatment for 100 poor elderly people in Cam Le District.  They were given general medical check-ups and ultrasound scans, worth 30 million VND in total, all funded by the hospital.  In addition, the elderly were introduced to some physical exercises and ways for them to prevent common diseases.

The Association has also coordinated with the city branch of the Viet Nam Prudential Assurance Company to give free medical examinations and medicines to 250 poor people in Thanh Khe and Hoa Vang districts.
