On Thursday morning, the Da Nang Association of Charities and Children’s Rights Protection (DACCRP), the Evangelical Church of Da Nang, and Samaritan's Purse Viet Nam donated Christmas gifts to 4,700 school pupils aged between 6 and 12.  The recipients are all studying at primary and junior high schools in Thanh Khe and Hoa Vang districts. 

Funded by Samaritan's Purse Australia, the gifts were learning tools and children's toys, worth 520,000 VND each. 

In addition, Christmas gifts were given to another 300 of the city’s disadvantaged children.  Some of them live in the charitable homes under the management of DACCRP, and the remainder are from the chapters of the local Evangelical Church.
