Dangerous weather in East Sea
According to the Central Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, a dangerous weather system has formed in the East Sea.
Due to the effects of cold air, on Sunday the mid-central region, including Da Nang, experienced north-easterly winds at level 5 whilst the coastal areas (including the north-easterly parts of the Hoang Sa waters) experienced north-easterly winds at level 6/7, and rough seas.
It is predicted that the cold air will continue to spread over today (28 December). Therefore, the Da Nang area and elsewhere along the central coast is expected to have scattered showers with temperatures ranging between 21 and 250C. The mid-central region is experiencing north-easterly winds at level 5/6, sea waves from 1 to 2m high, and slightly rough seas.
