The Da Nang People’s Committee has announced that employees of local agencies and departments, as well as those of political and social organisations, will officially have one day off work on 1 January 2016 for New Year holiday.

Local agencies, organisations, businesses and family homes, as well as vessels anchored in the Han River, are all required to fly national flags on 1 January 2016.

The heads of local agencies are urged to arrange for some of their employees to remain on duty, as well as to ensure security and order over the holiday period.
