Speaking at the ceremony, the Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Ho Ky Minh, said “Last year, Da Nang focused on building a cultured and civilised working style in local government departments and agencies, and enhancing the friendly and polite attitude and behaviour of government employees towards residents and businesses.  Numerous instructions were issued by the city authorities to deal with any delays in administrative procedures”.

Vice Chairman Minh affirmed, “In an effort to boost the effective management of our public administration, Da Nang annually asks the Socio-economic Development Research Institute to conduct surveys of citizens and local businesses about their levels of satisfaction with the public services.  The results help the city recognise its strengths and weaknesses in terms of governance and public administrative services so that it can find the best ways to enhance the efficiency of the city’s policies”.

The city leader affirmed that the authorities have been making every effort to satisfy the expectations of local residents and develop Da Nang into a more friendly city for both residents and visitors.
