Gifts presented to Vietnamese Language Centre in Laos
A group of members from some of Da Nang’s departments and agencies recently visited the Vietnamese Language Centre in Savannakhet Province, Laos.
Representatives from the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs donated to the centre 75 gifts, worth 20 million VND in total, along with many books, newspapers and pictures featuring the Vietnamese language. In addition, the city’s Phuoc Tien Company presented 2 bicycles, valued at 10 million VND in total.
On the occasion of their traditional Bunpimay New Year festival, the centre’s staff and students celebrated the water festival (Songkran) to welcome the visitors from Da Nang, and offered their best wishes to their Vietnamese guests.
