New street parking rules and one-way flows have begun
Since early April, Da Nang’s police have been imposing administrative fines on 4-wheeled vehicle drivers found to be violating new parking regulations along 10 local streets. Parking is only allowed along them either on odd dates or even dates.
The streets in question are Thai Phien, Le Hong Phong, Hoang Hoa Tham, Tran Quoc Toan, Tran Binh Trong, Nguyen Trai, a section of Le Do between its intersections with Dien Bien Phu and Tran Cao Van, a section of Do Quang between its intersections with Nguyen Van Linh and To Ngoc Van, a section of Hoang Dieu between its intersections with Nguyen Van Linh and Duy Tan, and a section of Hai Phong between its intersections with Nguyen Chi Thanh and Hoang Hoa Tham.
All drivers in the city are also facing new one-way restrictions on certain streets. From now until late April, the city’s police are distributing publicity and advising vehicle drivers to strictly comply with the new traffic flows on Yen The, Hong Thai, Bac Son, Tan Trao, a section of Phan Chau Trinh between its intersection with Le Hong Phong and Trung Nu Vuong, and a section of Hoang Dieu between its intersection with Nguyen Van Linh and Tran Quoc Toan. Administrative fines will be imposed on violators from the start of May.
