C Hospital celebrates 40th birthday
On Thursday, Da Nang’s C Hospital celebrated its 40th birthday. Present at the birthday event were Deputy Minister of Health Le Quang Cuong, municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Xuan Anh, and local People’s Committee Vice Chairman Phung Tan Viet.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Cuong praised the hospital’s staff for their outstanding achievements over recent years. He took the opportunity to ask them to continue enhancing their professional skills and upholding their medical ethics.

On behalf of the city’s leaders, Vice Chairman Viet thanked the hospital, and the Ministry of Health as a whole, for their great efforts in improving the quality of medical examinations and treatment in order to meet the increasing demands of residents in the city and neighbouring localities.
To mark the occasion, the C Hospital and 2 of its medical workers were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister in recognition of their outstanding achievements in medical examinations and treatment.
In addition, the hospital was given emulation flags from the Ministry of Health and the Da Nang People’s Committee. Dr Nguyen Tuong Van, the hospital’s director, was honoured with a third-class Labour Medal from the Prime Minister. Eighteen outstanding groups and 47 individuals were presented with Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Health.
The 750-bed hospital has 42 specialised wards and around 650 medical workers. It boasts modern facilities and advanced medical treatment technologies.
