Seas and coastal regions between Binh Thuan and Ca Mau provinces will also be exposed to heavy shower squalls.
Given the impact of the wet weather, the meteorologist has predicted the south of the country to experience pleasant temperatures between 27 and 34 degrees Celsius, and noted that a morning haze may occur in places throughout the period.
In the first half of the week, the northern localities can expect to see temperatures around 35-36 degrees Celsius, a drop against last week, with overnight rainfall and squalls also predicted.
The central region will continue to suffer extreme heat this week, with highs of 35 to 37 degrees Celsius, Lan predicted, adding that locales from Khanh Hoa Province to Da Nang can also expect increased temperatures by the weekend.
