On 8 December 2015, the district received an emulation flag from the Prime Minister for its excellent achievements in the national ‘All People Join Efforts to Build New Rural Areas’ movement.
At a meeting held in Da Nang on 10 May this year, it was announced that the district had been recognised as a locality meeting the government’s criteria for rural area development 5 years ahead of schedule.
Currently, 10 out of the 11 communes in Hoa Vang District meet the environmental protection criteria, whilst the remaining Hoa Bac Commune is striving to meet the criteria by late this month.
In the future, greater efforts will be made to further the development of a local synchronous technical infrastructure, with a focus on installing more lighting systems, and building new roads, schools and cultural centres.
